Arms factory unearthed, 3 arrested

An arms and ammunition factory was unearthed in Bharatpur with the arrest of three persons, police said today.

After getting a tip-off, a police team raided three places Pahari, Kama and Jurera and arrested the trio recovering two guns, 10 country- made pistols, equipment and machines from them last night, they said here.

Jafroo (25), Mustaq (28) and Samsu (20) were arrested under the Arms act, they said.

The accused, residents of Bharatpur district, were active in making of illegal arms and ammunition, they said, adding a probe was on into the matter.
