General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of the Northern Command, Lt Gen DS Hooda today called on Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra and apprised him of the security situation in the state.
They discussed various matters relating to border management, along the International Border(IB), Line of Control (LoC) and Line of Actual Control (LAC), an official spokesman said.
They talked about the issues of counter terrorism operations in the hinterland, he said.
The governor and the army commander also discussed various schemes initiated for the welfare of ex-servicemen and their families, he said.
