Army jawan beaten to death

An Army jawan was beaten to

death by unidentified assailants in Bansdeeh village, police said here today.

38-year-old Akshay Kumar Mishra was badly beaten with sticks yesterday and was rushed to a hospital, where he died during treatment, they said.

Police have lodged an FIR in this connection.
