Army jawan commits suicide in Poonch

A 23-year-old Army jawan allegedly committed suicide today by hanging himself in his barrack in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district.

Lance Naik Anil Bura of an Army unit in Mendhar Sector was found hanging in his barrack this morning, an Army officer said.

Attempts to resuscitate him through medical assistance proved futile, he said, adding further details are awaited.
