Army jawan falls unconscious on road, dies

An Army jawan died today after falling unconscious on a road in the city.

Sepoy Kamal Thappa, a jawan of 5 Grenadiers, collapsed while walking on the road in Satwari belt of the city. He was admitted to the military hospital here, a defence spokesman said.

The jawan passed away during treatment, the spokesman said, adding that it is suspected that he died due to heat stroke.
