To spread awareness about Yoga and its benefits, special camps were organised at various locations of the Mathura Cantonment area today to mark the International Day of Yoga by the Strike 1 Corps.
"The benefit of Yoga is not restricted at the physical level, but is an ideal unification of the mind, body and breath," the General Officer Commanding Strike 1 Corps, Lt. Gen. Ranbir Singh, said.
He attended Yoga sessions along with a large contingent of officers and their family members.

Meanwhile, over 9,000 cadets, boys and girls, of the NCC's Agra Group participated in morning yoga sessions in various colleges and school on the day, a defence public relation officer (PRO) said.
"The central venue, Yoga Gyarah Sidi Park with the Taj Mahal in the background, was allotted by the civil administration for the purpose," defence PRO Gargi Malik Sinha said.
A large number of NCC and civil administration officials, and principals of various education institutes also attended the session, she said.
"The Agra Group trains over 11,800 cadets from 115 colleges located at Agra, Etawah, Mainpuri, Shikohabad and Firozabad," she said.
