In a minor reshuffle, the Odisha government today appointed Arun Bothra as the Inspector General of Police in the Economic Offence Wing (EOW), besides changing portfolio of another IPS officer.
Bothra, who was working as the IG, Crime Branch, would now work as the IG, EOW, a notification issued by the Home Department said.
1997 batch IPS officer Asheet Kumar Panigrahi, posted as the IG, Eastern Range, would replace Bothra in the Crime Branch.
Similarly, 1999 batch officer Ghanshyam Upadhya, who returned to the state after working as a SP in the CBI, Delhi, has been appointed as the new DIG, Eastern Range.
