The All Nyishi Students Union (ANSU) and All Papum Pare District Students' Union (APPDSU) today urged the state government for strict checking of Inner Line Permit (ILP) of the people visiting the state capital by train introduced recently.
They also demanded job quota in North East Frontier Railway for indigenous people of the state and construction of multipurpose bridge over the river Dikrong between Doimukh and Tigdo by the Railway department.
Listing all three demands, A joint team of ANSU and APPDSU submitted a memorandum to the Chief Secretary Ramesh Negi.
