ASI of Kolkata police commits suicide

A assitant sub inspector of Kolkata police today committed suicide while on duty in Belgachia area of Kolkata.

ASI Niranjan Das (57) today committed suicide by shooting himself, while he was on duty in State Forensic lab situated in Belgachia area of Kolkata.

According to Kolkata police officials, Das was suffering from depression as he was suffering from various ailments for quite sometime. The police has launched an investigation into the case.
