Assam Assembly summoned

Assam Governor P B Acharya today summoned the Budget session of the Assam Assembly from July 18 next.

The Governor has summoned the Assembly to meet at 9 AM on July 18 next in exercise of powers conferred by clause (1) of the Article 174 of the Constitution, a Raj Bhawan release said here.

A three-day special session of the newly-elected Assembly was held from June one last.
