Assam militant lynched

A militant was lynched by a mob in Assam's Hailakandi district, police said today.

Rahimuddin (38), belonging to a local militant group 'Zakir' was severely beaten up by a mob at Boinchera last night.

He succumbed to his injuries at Hailakandi civil hospital, police said.
