Assamese worker held for supervisor's murder

A man hailing from Assam was today arrested for allegedly murdering his supervisor here, police said.

Murali Bora, working in a private firm here, got annoyed as his supervisor Athar Abul Ansari reprimanded him frequently. After a wordy duel last evening, he allegedly hit his supervisor, who is from Jharkhand, with a wooden reaper, they said.

Ansari, who sustained serious injuries, died on the way to the Madurai Government Hospital late last night, police said.
