Assembly adjourns sine die

The Puducherry Assembly today adjourned sine die after holding a three-day session from March 11.

The House debated for two days since yesterday on the motion of thanks to the Lt Governor Lt General (retired) A K Singh for his address on March 11.

Today, members belonging to the treasury and opposition benches expressed their views on various aspects of the address.

Speaker V Sabapathy adjourned the Assembly sine die after the House passed by voice vote the motion of thanks to the Lt Governor for his address at the end of the debate.
