Assembly Speaker, Justice Shyamal Sen attend Adyapeath

West Bengal Assembly Speaker Biman Bandyopadhyay and Correctional Homes minister H A Safi today attended a function at Dakshineswar Ramakrishna Sangha Adyapeath and talked about maintaining harmony among all religions.

The two complimented the job of Adyapeath to help the 'daridranarayan' (the poor) and said the heritage religious institution symbolised communal amity and brotherhood.

The Adyapeath authorities distributed clothes among 5000 poor and blankets among 3,000 poor as part of the birth anniversary of the founder of instiution.

Former West Bengal Governor Justice Shyamal Sen was also present.
