An assistant manager of a public sector bank allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan at her residence in Bihar's Gopalganj district, police said today.
The body of the 25-year-old woman was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her rented house when police broke open the door of her room.
Police reached the spot on an alert by neighbours as the door of the room was not opened despite repeated knocks by her maids this morning, Additional Superintendent of Police Anil Kumar said.
She was posted in an IDBI branch here for the past three years, Kumar said.
