: An Assistant Superintedent in the postal department has been arrested for allegedly taking Rs 4,000 as bribe from a tempoary employee late last night, police said.
They said he was arrested on a complaint from the employee, who said the AS had threatened to file a complaint against him, charging him with misappropriating money from the post office if he did not give the amount.
The anti corruption wing police then laid a trap and nabbed him late last night while he received Rs 4,000.
