AstraZeneca Pharma Q3 net up 84 pc to Rs 16 cr

Drug firm AstraZeneca Pharma today reported an 84.08 per cent increase in its standalone net profit at Rs 15.96 crore for the third quarter ended December.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 8.67 crore in October-December quarter a year ago, AstraZeneca Pharma said in a BSE filing.

Its total income from operations was up 3.94 per cent to Rs 150.28 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 144.58 crore earlier.

AstraZeneca's overall expenses were up 1.44 per cent to Rs 139.36 crore as against Rs 137.38 crore in the corresponding period of last fiscal.

Shares of AstraZeneca today settled at Rs 948.70 on BSE, up 1.02 per cent from the previous close.
