A case was registered against three persons for allegedly attempting to murder a man here, police said today.
Three armed persons entered the house of Mahendra Singh, a resident of Sahaspur village yesterday and started abusing him. Subsequently, they threatened to kill Singh and beat him. Thereafter they opened fired on Singh but he had a narrow escape.
An FIR was lodged in this connection yesterday by the victim. Following which, a case was registered against the accused Bintoo and two others under section 307 IPC, Station Officer Digvijay Singh said.
No arrests have been made so far in this connection, police said.
