Australia end day 1 of 3rd Test at 299 for 4 against India

Australia ended the day one of the the third cricket Test against India at a solid 299 for four here today.

Skipper Steven Smith (117) and Glenn Maxwell (82), who returned to the Test side after two and a half years, were at the crease for the visitors.
