Austrian couple abducted in northern Burkina Faso

An Austrian doctor and his wife were abducted yesterday morning in the north of Burkina Faso, the country's interior ministry said today.

The couple were kidnapped in Baraboule, near the west African country's borders with Niger and Mali.
