Austrian Embassy and Ashok Hall organises inter-school

Austrian Embassy and the Ashok Hall Group of Schools is organising an inter-school competition, to celebrate the golden jubilee of the five-time Academy Award winner 'The Sound of Music'.

Eighteen eminent schools of city till now have evinced interest to participate in the two-day event - 'The Edelweiss Festival' - to be held at Kala Mandir from June 16, a Ashok Hall group spokesperson said.

The schools will take part in inter-school competitions, based on the movie, including instrumental, music/songs, speech, skit, quiz, powerPoint presentation on Austria, video collage from films in other languages, influenced by 'The Sound of Music'.
 

The participating schools include, La Martiniere for Boys, St. James School, DPS Megacity, Lakshmipat Singhania Academy, Mahadevi Birla World Academy, Delhi Public School - Ruby Park, Apeejay School, Harrow Hall, South City International School, GD Birla Centre For Education and Ashok Hall Girls' Higher Secondary School.
