Auto driver arrested for murdering wife

: An autorickshaw driver was arrested today for allegedly murdering his wife by Immersing her face in a water tank at nearby Krishnankovil .

Kannan (36) was arrested based on a complaint given by his father-in-law.

Police said they were informed by the man's neighbours that the woman was found dead in her house last night. The body was seized and sent for post-mortem.
