Auto driver murdered by unidentified persons

A 35-year-old auto driver was found murdered by some unidentified persons on the outskirts of the city today, police said.

Gopi's body was found with stab injuries near a petrol station at Abishegapatti on Tirunelveli-Tenkasi national highways this afternoon by the passersby, they said.

Police, on information, rushed to the spot and recovered the body. Previous enmity was suspected to be the motive.
