Robotic process automation leader Automation Anywhere today joined hands with Nasscom skilling initiative EdCast, to train Indian students in robotics.
As part of the agreement, subscribers on Futureskills portal will have exclusive access to Automation Anywhere University (AAU) training programmes, the company said in a statement.
The programmes will empower students with Automation Anywhere certifications for leading exciting career opportunities, it said.
The programme will help Automation Anywhere's aim to train over one lakh students and professionals in 2018, the company said.
The partnership will help Nasscom achieve its vision of upskilling two million technology professionals and skilling another two million potential employees and students over the next few years, the company said.

Automation Anywhere has become the first provider of upskilling programmes in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) domain under futureskills initiative, it said.
RPA is among the eight technologies identified by Nasscom which are poised to grow tremendously, both nationally and globally, in decades to come, the company said.
Automation Anywhere Chief Revenue Officer and co-founder Ankur Kothari said the government and Nasscom have acted appropriately by coming out with a comprehensive skilling programme to create a talent pool of engineers.
