Ayurveda specialist appointed special secretary in Ayush

Renowned Ayurveda physician 'Vaidya' Rajesh Kotecha was today appointed as special secretary in Ayush Ministry.

The appointment is in line with the Centre's efforts to bring in specialists from the private sector in the government.

Usually a government officials is appointed to such posts.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved his appointment to the post for three years on a contract basis, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) said.

Vaidya (or physician/doctor) Kotecha is chief consultant of Chakrapani Ayurveda Clinic, Jaipur.
