Azad given additional charge of Water Resources Ministry

Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad will hold additional charge of Water Resources Ministry following the resignation of Harish Rawat, who has become Chief Minister of Uttarakhand.

A Rashtrapati Bhawan communique today said that the President has accepted the resignation of Rawat and has directed that Azad shall be given the additional charge of the work of Ministry of Water Resources.
