Bad weather forces SpiceJet to cancel flight

Seventy five passengers were put to hardship after budget air carrier SpiceJet cancelled its flight from here to Port Blair at the last minute due to bad weather.

Airport officials said the flight, scheduled to leave Chennai this afternoon, was cancelled at the last minute due to heavy rainfall in Port Blair. The passengers were then requested to come tomorrow, they said.

Meanwhile, SpiceJet in its micro-blogging site, cautioned passengers about flight operations getting affected due to bad weather in Port Blair.

"Due to bad weather in Port Blair, all departures and arrivals and their consequential flights may get affected", SpiceJet said.
 

"All passengers are requested to cross check their flight status before leaving for the airport", it said.
