Badal meets Manmohan

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today called on former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the latter's residence here.

Badal's advisor on national affairs and media Harcharan Bains accompanied him during his meeting with Singh this evening.

In a statement issued here, Bains described the meeting as a "courtesy" call.

This was Badal's first meeting with the former Prime Minister after the 2014 General Election, Bains said.
