Trinamool Congress leader Narendranath Chakraborty, arrested at Kolkata airport with a revolver and three cartridges on January 31, secured bail today.
A Barrackpore court granted bail to Chakraborty on furnishing a bond of Rs 10,000.
Chakraborty, a member of Burdwan Zila Parishad and president of Pandabeshwar block Trinamool Congress in Burdwan district, was arrested at the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport after an unlicensed revolver and three bullets were found in his luggage.
He was going to Chennai along with his wife in connection with her treatment there.
