Bajra down on lack of buying support

Bajra prices fell by Rs 20 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today in the absence of any buying support from consuming industries.

However, other grains including wheat and rice basmati, moved in a narrow range on scattered buying or selling and settled at previous levels.

Traders said adequate stocks against lack of buying support from consuming industries mainly kept pressure on bajra prices.

In the national capital, bajra eased by Rs 20 to Rs 1,200-1,205 per quintal.
