Bakshi Cup for 3 officer training academies commences

The Bakhshi Cup 2014, a sports meet for trainees of three premier officer training academies -- National Defence Academy), Khadakvasla, Indian Military Academy, Dehradun and Indian Naval Academy at Ezhimala commenced at the INA here today.

It is for the first time that INA is hosting this prestigious tournament at Ezhimala, a release from INA said.

The event kicked off with a football match between INA and NDA teams, with NDA winning 3-1.

These two teams also clashed in basketball and squash, with INA beating NDA 67-41 and NDA winning the squash event, the release said.
