Bangladeshi held with over 200 silver anklets

A Bangladeshi national was today arrested by the BSF after several silver anklets were seized from his possession while crossing the integrated check post (ICP)-Gede.

"The arrested person had no explanation about the materials he was carrying, following which he was arrested," a senior BSF official said.

Mohammed Habibur Rahaman, a resident of South Shemulia in Dhaka was arrested when nearly 237 silver anklets, weighing around 3.87 kg, was seized from him during a search, he said.
