Bank employee commits suicide

A bank employee committed suicide by hanging himself inside the bank at Jammu city.

23-year-old Sumeet Dalmohotra was found hanging in the hall of Grameen Bank in the Sarwal area of the city, police said today.

Sumeet, who is electrician-cum-peon, was on security duty when the incident took place, he said adding, the incident came to light this morning after the branch was opened.

A case has been registered and the body has been shifted to hospital for post-mortem, he said.
