Banking activities in Mizoram were severely hit today with public Sector bank employees having joined the relay strike called by United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) for early signing of the wage accord.
All the public sector banks remained closed for the day as employees stayed away from their work places.
People using ATMs also faced difficulties when bank employees refused to pour cash in the machines after the cash drained out.
