: Over 30,000 employees and officers in 4600 bank branches and offices in Kerala today took part in the All India strike demanding wage revision.
Bank branches, administrative offices, foreign exchange departments, clearing houses did not function in the state, a union press release here said.
Striking workers took out rallies and held dharnas all over the state.
At Ernakulam, the dharna in front of Andhra Bank was inaugurated by C D Josson, State Convenor of United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) comprising 9 unions.
