Bapu remembered

Two minutes silence was observed across Jharkhand as a mark of respect to Mahatma Gandhi on his 66th death anniversary.

In the absence of Governor Syed Ahmed, now under treatment, his Principal Secretary R S Poddar and several officials garlanded Bapu's photo at the Raj Bhavan, sources in the Raj Bhavan said.

Congress leaders garlanded the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Morahbadi here, a release said.
