Barbie features boy for first time in its ads

Mattel is featuring a boy in its Barbie ads for the very first time for the company's collaboration with Moschino.

In the commercial posted to the brand's YouTube page on October 30, a mohawked blond boy plays with the Moschino doll with two other girls.

"Moschino Barbie - so fierce!" the little guy enthusiastically tells the camera before assisting his doll with her chic accessories and handling her incoming calls.

"She's the girl who has it all. Nothing can stop her. Please hold while she takes this call," the ad's lyrics go in between the boy's appearances.
