Prices of barley and maize rose up to Rs 20 per quintal on the wholesale grains market today on stockists buying against tight supplies from producing belt.
However, other grains moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said stockists buying against tight supplies from producing regions mainly led to rise in barley and maize prices.
