Base metals ease on low demand

Most of the base metals eased further at the non-ferrous metal market today on persistent stockists selling amid low demand from industrial users.
While, tin recovered on good offtake from alloy industries.
Copper scrap heavy, zinc and lead moved by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 367, Rs 190 and Rs 132 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 369, Rs 192 and Rs 134.

Copra cable scrap, copper armature, copper utensils scrap, copper wire bar, brass utensils scrap, brass sheet cutting and Aluminium ingots all softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 374, Rs 357, Rs 335, Rs 402, Rs 273, Rs 279 and Rs 140, respectively.
However, tin rose by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,365 from overnight close of Rs 1,360.
