Meanwhile, tin and aluminium ingots gained on good offtake from consumer industries.
The industrial metals started December trade on a softer footing at the LME, after last month logging its biggest monthly loss since June, as traders waited to see if a key private sector report would reinforce signs of steady factory growth in top consumer China.
Copper sheet cutting fell by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 475 from last weekend's level of Rs 479.
Copper cables scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armature and copper wire bar declined by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 501, Rs 495, Rs 481 and Rs 529 from Rs 504, Rs 498, Rs 484 and Rs 532, respectively.
Brass sheet cutting moved down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 353 from Rs 355.
Copper utensils scrap and brass utensils scrap softened by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 456 and Rs 344.
However, tin climbed by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,580 as against Rs 1,575 previously.
Aluminium ingots moved up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 147 from Rs 145.
