Bengal journalists protest against attack on them

Protesting against attack on them in the run up to the elections in West Bengal, journalists today took out a here demanding justice.

In a letter to the DM yesterday, it said that several reporters and cameramen, along with a photo journalist, came under attack when they were covering the election nomination exercise.

The Association also said that all of them sustained and a few anti-socials had snatched accessories like cameras and electronic gadgets of the photo journalist, and requested the DM to take necessary action against the culprits.
