Bengal minister admitted to hospital

West Bengal Panchayat Minister Subrata Mukherjee was today put under medical observation here at a hospital where he was admitted following complaint of difficulty in breathing.
The minister was on way to the office of Darjeeling SP A K Chaturvedi for a scheduled meeting after attending an administrative discussion chaired by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in the afternoon when he experienced sudden breathing problem.
He was taken to the Darjeeling Sadar Hospital. A medical bulletin issued by the chief medical officer Subir Bhowmik described his condition as 'stable', but said he would be kept under observation.
