Bihar continues to be hot and humid

Weather remained hot and humid in Patna and other parts of Bihar today with the MeT department forecasting generally cloudy skies with possibility of rains or thunder or dust storm tomorrow.

In its forecast for the next 24 hours, the MeT department said Patna and Gaya would witness generally cloudy skies with possibility of rain or thunder or dust storm.

It said there would be generally cloudy skies with light rain in Bhagalpur, while Purnea may witness generally cloudy skies with moderate rain, it said.

Patna recorded a maximum temperature of 36 deg C, while Gaya was the hottest place in the state with a maximum temperature of 36.7 deg C, the state MeT office said.
 

Bhagalpur and Purnea registered maximum temperature of 36 and 34.8 deg C respectively, it said.

Patna recorded a maximum level of humidity at 74 per cent in the morning, while it was 58 per cent in the evening.

Purnea recorded 0.3 mm of rainfall, while Patna and Bhagalpur reported traces of rain, the Met department said.
