BJP criticises HP govt for withdrawing case against former Min

Himachal Pradesh BJP has taken a strong exception to the reported move of the State government to withdraw the corruption case against former Congress minister Singhi Ram.

"The government has reportedly withdrawn the corruption case against Singhi Ram which proves our allegation that the government was shielding the corrupt leaders and officials," state BJP chief Satpal Singh Satti said in a statement here.

"The government is setting a bad precedent and withdrawing corruption cases against political leaders which vindicates our stand that it is protecting the corrupt people," he said.
