A BJP delegation today visited the Chowmandal village in Birbhum district which witnessed clash between BJP and Trinamool Congress activists yesterday in which one person was killed.
A BJP delegation led by Subhas Sarkar went to Chowmandol village and talked to the villagers.
Meanwhile, the Suri Sadar Hospital today said body of Sheik Jasim which was brought to the hospital yesterday for postmortem would be send Burdwan Medical College Hospital.
Suri Sadar Hospital don't have such expertise to perform the postmortem. So we have decided to send Jasim's body to Burdwan Medical College Hospital, Hospital Superintendent Shovan Dey said.
Sheikh Jasim, a BJP supporter of Chowmandal village in Birbhum district was shot dead yesterday during a clash between BJP and Trinamool Congress supporters.
The BJP supporters demonstrated in the Suri Sadar Hospital the protest the decision of the hospital to send Jasim's body to Burdwan Medical College Hospital for postmortem.
