The BJP high command will decide whether the party would contest the 2017 Punjab assembly polls in alliance with the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) or enter the poll fray on its own.
Union minister of state (MOS) for Social Justice and Women Empowerment, Vijay Sampla today told reporters here that it was for the BJP high command to decide on the upcoming Assembly elections.
The Hoshiarpur MP said that the BJP high command will take suggestions at all levels within the party before coming to a conclusion on the matter.

"BJP high command should get suggestions from all levels, including activists, common citizens and then it should come to a conclusion on this significant aspect," he said.
The Minister claimed that BJP-led NDA government was working on a long-term plan for the accelerated and integrated development of the country.
