BJP Mahila Morcha chief assumes office

Newly appointed BJP Mahila Morcha chief Vijaya Rahatkar today assumed office at the BJP headquarters here in the presence of several party leaders.

Among those present included union Minister Smriti Irani, outgoing Mahila Morcha president Saroj Pandey, BJP general secretary J P Nadda and Mahila Morcha in-charge Mridula Sinha.

BJP leaders and workers congratulated her for her new assignment and accorded her a warm welcome.

Pandey, addressing the women workers, introduced Rahatkar to the women workers who are part of BJP president Amit Shah's new team and asked them to help strengthen the party.
