BJP MP alleges irregularities in coal blocks allocation during

BJP MP and party leader from Maharashtra Hansraj Ahir today alleged irregularities in "allotment" of coal blocks to 34 private companies between 2009 and 2011 during the tenure of Sriprakash Jaiswal as Coal Minister causing loss of crores of rupees to the exchequer.

At a press conference here, Ahir released the list of 34 companies which were allegedly allotted coal blocks, along with the dates of allotment to them.

When Jaiswal, who is seeking re-election to the Lok Sabha from Kanpur, was contacted for his response to the allegation, the Congress leader said he will talk later on the matter.
