BJP nominates candidates for 2 assembly bypoll seats

The BJP today nominated Amit Kumar Mandal from Godda and Lal Suraj from Panki for the May 16 Assembly bypoll.

The BJP Central Election Committee has decided the names, according to a party release here.

The by-elections are necessitated following deaths of Bidesh Singh, who represented Congress from Panki, and Raghunanand Mandal, who represented BJP from Godda.

Counting of votes will take place on May 19.
