BJP has planned a week-long agitation against Himachal Pradesh government for its alleged vindicative action against opposition leaders, including registration of an FIR against former BJP minister Rajiv Bindal in connection with a 12-year-old case and the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association.

Talking to reporters after the conclusion of a three-day workshop for party workers here, state BJP chief Satpal Singh Satti said they would observe "Anti Badla-Badli (Vindictive, Transfers and Revenge)" Week to protest the actions of the Congress-led government.

Protest rallies would be held in all district headquarters and demonstration would be held outside the Assembly during the monsoon session on August 23.

Meetings will be organised in Mandal level from September 1 to 15 to prepare cadres for the agitation and booth-level meetings will be held from September 25 to October 10 to make people aware about anti-people activities of the state government.

Meanwhile, former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today accused the Virbhadra Singh government of wreaking vengeance against political opponents and pursuing politics of vendetta and said "all such actions would be taken to the court of the people and also fought legally".
